What the models do, what a run costs, and how the watermark works.
PropLabs publishes AI models for property photography. There are seven of them — virtual staging, virtual renovation, furniture removal, object removal, sky replacement, lawn enhancement and photo enhancement — and they run on Replicate, where anyone can use them. PropLabs is part of AxcelerateAI.
No. The models are published publicly on Replicate. You need a Replicate account to run them, and you pay Replicate for the compute. You only need to contact us if you want the watermark removed, volume pricing, or a custom model.
Output is watermarked by default and free to try — you pay only Replicate for the generation, on your own API token. Replicate bills compute per run at their published rates, so what a run costs is between you and Replicate.
The watermark is what makes the models free to try. You can run any of them as many times as you like, see exactly what they produce, and decide whether the quality is good enough for your work before paying us anything.
Every model takes an optional watermark_remove_token input. Supply a token and the output comes back clean. A token is $100 USD a month and covers 1,000 images in that month. Ask through the contact form and we will issue one.
It expires, and it is not per model. A token covers 1,000 images across all seven models for one month. At the end of the month it stops working and you renew it for the next one. An unused balance does not carry forward, so a month where you run 200 images still costs $100 — worth knowing if your work is seasonal.
Yes — Replicate's. Every model is callable over Replicate's HTTP API or their Python, JavaScript and other client libraries, with the same inputs you see in the playground. There is no separate PropLabs API to sign up for.
That is something we arrange case by case rather than offer self-serve. If you need the models behind your own endpoint, or under your own deployment, get in touch and tell us the volume and the constraints.
Yes. Replicate's API handles concurrent predictions, so you can submit a batch of images in parallel rather than one at a time. The concurrency available to you is governed by your Replicate account, not by us.
For high volume we will quote you directly rather than list a rate. Tell us through the contact form the monthly image count you expect and what you are building.
Most models take a quality input of Standard or Pro, and a resolution input of 1K, 2K or 4K, with 4K available on Pro. Auto picks a sensible size for the input image.
That is the thing each model is built to avoid, and each one draws the line differently. Furniture removal keeps anything that would still be there for the next occupant — fitted kitchens, bathrooms, built-in storage. Lawn enhancement keeps the lawn's existing shape and leaves paving, gravel and borders alone. Virtual renovation keeps the room's layout and openings.
Furniture removal clears a whole room down to an empty space and decides for itself what belongs to the occupant. Object removal takes a plain-language list of specific things to remove — a car, a bin, some signage — and rebuilds the surface behind them.
No. Object removal takes a plain description of what you want removed rather than a mask, so there is nothing to paint or trace.
Run furniture removal first to clear it, then virtual staging to furnish it in the style you want. The two models are designed to chain in that order.
